WHPT Moderation

Ensuring accurate teacher assessment of writing and consistency within our schools and across all schools in WHPT is a pivotal form of CPD. Hopefully, these moderation sessions will provide everything that is needed to equip staff to support their own judgements, by providing high-quality, standardised examples of real children’s writing and further extend this resource by adding agreed samples from across the trust.

Staff will be provided with writing standardisation sheets, which can be used to quality assure teacher judgements across the primary schools in our trust.

Every trust school is expected to take part in the trust moderation.  If you aren’t able to attend, please liaise with Adam Lumley to provide writing samples for the moderation.
