Year 6 Writing Moderation

Purpose of the Session:

The goal of this session is to ensure accurate teacher assessment of writing and maintain consistency within our schools and across all schools in WHPT. These moderation sessions aim to provide everything needed to equip staff to make secure judgements by working with expert colleagues and using high-quality, standardized examples of children’s writing.

Please Bring:

All class teachers are requested to bring samples of work for moderation from a WTS (Working Towards the Standard), EXS (Expected Standard), and GDS (Greater Depth Standard) child. If there is no GDS child in the class, please bring an extra EXS sample.

All schools are required to participate in moderation.
